FirePhoenix (FP) is the first virtual private network (VPN) based anti-censorship tool that

FirePhoenix is the most powerful protection offered so far to users working under censorship. After installation, the FirePhoenix software on a user’s computer creates a virtual network card, and once FirePhoenix software connects to one of the numerous FirePhoenix servers on the other side of GFW, the virtual network card functions the same as a physical network card, but with the network cable plugged in the FirePhoenix server’s local network. To a user, it is just as if his/her computers were directly connected to a wide open network overseas, and the GFW becomes nonexistent.
